LWIR Lens | Infrared Optics

LWIR Lenses normally work with uncooled detectors in the range of 8-14μm wavelength. Quanhom LWIR lenses support up-to 1280x1024(SXGA) resolution.

Continuous Zoom LWIR Lens

Quanhom Continuous optical zoom LWIR lens with balance of aperture lightweight and costs, ideal for long-range surveillance&homeland security, support SXGA(1280x1024 12μm) format.

M-FOV LWIR Lens

Fast FOV change and accurate LOS LWIR Lens, Multiple-FOV Infrared Lens incl. dual-FOV and other discrete FOV Infrared Lens

Fixed Athermalized LWIR Lens (1-FOV)

Quanhom Optical Athermalized LWIR Lens have been widely used in uncooled thermal imaging cameras for security&surveillance, UAV and more applications

Manual LWIR Lens (1-FOV)

Advanced optical& mechanical design for keeping image Sharpe and ruggedized quality, no matter after strong shock or changing uncooled thermal imaging cameras

Motorized LWIR Lens (1-FOV)

Long Range LWIR motorized focus lenses upto 300mm EFL; From EFL 25mm to 300mm for surveillance &homeland security, defense, and related remote control systems

HD Lenses

In the 8-14μm wavelength uncooled Focal Plane Arrays (FPA) are available with a pixel pitch of 12 microns or less. High resolution FPAs with VGA, XGA and SXGA (1280x1024) resolution will require new lens designs to give the required fields of view. The challenge for Infrared Optical Designer is to design lenses when the pixel pitch of the detector is the same as the wavelength of the light imaged. The lens specification will need to give more thought to the resolution required by the system.

Based on decades of experience of Quanhom infrared optics designers, to meet the latest requirements of various security and surveillance LWIR applications. We manufacture long-range lenses that support the most advanced LWIR detectors, such as up to 300mm continuous zoom LWIR lenses (up to 400mm LWIR recommended reflective types) and other infrared lenses, which are perfectly upgraded to 12μm SXGA (1280X1024) Format.

It can produce the clearest image when used with 12μm SXGA (1280X1024)/HD LWIR detectors.

Dual FOV Infrared Lens

Quanhom Continuous optical zoom LWIR lens with balance of aperture lightweight and costs, ideal for long-range surveillance&homeland security, support SXGA(1280x1024 12μm) format.
